The Rotary Foundation received a $250,000 donation from the Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Foundation. The Rotary Foundation works with its more than 35,000 clubs to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, assist mothers and children, support education and grow local economies.
The Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Foundation contributed $50,000 to the North Georgia Heart Foundation. The goal of the NGHF is “seeking a world without cardiovascular disease, starting right outside our backdoor. With the support of the community, NGHF will serve as a platform to work towards making a significant difference in the lives of those in the communities of north Georgia and apply that knowledge for a global benefit.”
The Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Foundation presented Eagle Ranch with a $60,000 donation. Eagle Ranch is one of Georgia’s largest residential children’s programs. It is designed to help make life better for children and families going through a crisis. Its integrated approach, built on Christian principles, models home life, emphasizes education, and incorporates multi-faceted counseling.
The Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Foundation made a $25,000 contribution to the Forsyth County Schools REACH Scholarship Fund. The REACH Program is a needs-based scholarship in which students must maintain good grades, good attendance and graduate from high school to stay in the program.
The Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Foundation made a $35,000 donation to the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Council provides scouting programs for 26 counties in northeast Georgia.
The Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Foundation donated $61,500 to the Rivers of the World Foundation. ROW works globally to clean up highly polluted rivers in the U.S., India, Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, Europe and other parts of the world.
